Some of our packages include the option for multiple locations in a single session, and couples often aren't sure whether it's worth the extra time and planning. Here's an honest look at the trade-offs.
The case for multiple locations
More locations means more visual variety in your final gallery — a mix of urban and natural, or two spots that each mean something personal to you. If your favourite two places couldn't be more different (say, a downtown street and a quiet conservation area), a multi-location session lets you have both instead of choosing.
The case for a single location
A single, well-chosen location lets you move slower, explore more corners and angles within that one spot, and cuts out travel time entirely — meaning more of your session time is actually spent shooting rather than driving or walking between spots. For couples who want a calm, unhurried pace, this often works better.
What "worth it" really depends on
If your two ideal locations are close together (say, downtown Brampton and Gage Park, both a short walk apart), adding a second location costs you very little time and adds real variety. If they're a 30-minute drive apart, that travel time comes directly out of your shooting time — which may or may not feel worth the trade-off depending on your priorities.
Our honest recommendation
If you're drawn to two locations that are geographically close, go for it — it's genuinely a great way to add variety without much cost. If they're far apart, consider whether a calmer, single-location session (with more time to explore one spot thoroughly) might actually serve you better than rushing between two.
